Introduction
This post marks the completion of my WPCredits journey. Throughout this experience, I had the opportunity to learn how the WordPress community works and actively contribute to the WP Polyglots team by translating the Astra – Spanish (Costa Rica) project.
Project Summary
During this journey, I completed the different activities required by WPCredits, from building my personal website and joining the WordPress community to contributing translations through GlotPress.
As part of my contribution, I translated a total of 304 strings for the Astra project in Spanish (Costa Rica). Along the way, I learned how to follow translation guidelines, work with localization tools, and maintain consistency across translations.
Every stage of this experience has been documented throughout this blog, allowing me to share both my progress and everything I learned during the project.

Beyond completing the required tasks, this experience gave me a better understanding of how an open-source community operates and showed me that there are many different ways to contribute to WordPress.
I also developed new skills using WordPress and GlotPress, improved my attention to detail, and gained a greater appreciation for teamwork in international collaborative projects.
Closing
Completing this project has been a rewarding experience. I am proud of what I accomplished and grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such a large open-source community. I hope to continue learning and, if possible, contribute to future WordPress projects.
